Eurodam Updated Deck Plans

It looks like an improvement to me. As it is now it looks like the casino and piano bar are competing for top noise level. The new diagram separates them so the casino won't be affected by any musical performances and the music won't be interrupted by the whooping of the winners across the hallway! Could be a win-win.

But in the new layout there are no walls between the Casino Bar or Billboard Onboard nor towards the Casino itself. The old Piano Bar used to have more walls, I think. However the entire new area looks very nice, especially the Gallery Bar. The Casino now looks a bit outdated, squashed between all new décor.

The wife and I were on the Eurodam right after her dry dock (Christmas cruise). The casino/gallery bar/piano bar was a vast improvement in my opinion. I spent a lot of time in both the casino and the gallery bar. They were still tweaking the TVs in the gallery bar so I had to rely on the casino TVs for college football. The piano bar area is more open than the old layout, which was good because it was a popular venue and there was plenty of room without people standing everywhere. It was a single piano player on this cruise (not dueling as on the new layout). You could hear the performance from the gallery bar and the casino. A previous poster mentioned the separation between the casino and the piano bar. There is not a wall there as depicted in the diagram. However one does not overwhelm the other at all.

Bottom line I think most folks will enjoy the new layout versus the old. I wish I had pics to share.

On a separate note, the suite renovations are very nice. We had a signature suite. Love the new TVs and on demand to go with the late night room service.

Thanks for the insight. I am planning to sail on the Eurodam this Sunday (1/31) for 2 weeks. Eager to see the changes. I was on the Eurodam last month, before it went in dry dock and was told of a number of changes in some of the lounges.

Wow! If those dark lines between the casino and the Casino bar and Billboards onboard aren't walls, I'm just glad who ever drew up these plans didn't do the plans to my house!

  • 1 month later...
I have been reading where a portion of the Crows Nest is being turned into an Art Studio, any truth to this and if so what portion?

Thx

Right now it's just Oosterdam I believe.

Port side of the crow's nest, commonly referred to as the "captain's corner"

So is the nightclub gone now? Always seemed like a wasted space anyhow.

Yes It went in the Dec Dry Dock and the entire Casino, Piano Bar, Sports Bar, and Northern Lights was all rearranged.
