What Do You Do On a Sea Day?

I like to get up at sunrise and have a small breakfast, and then explore before everyone else is up. Then the solarium for a couple of hours.

Then I like to do the indoor activities and games like trivia and bingo before lunch.

Then I'll explore some more and people watch on the sports deck and maybe take a nap.

And then it's time to get ready for the evening. :)

Just reading the responses, it's getting me even more excited for our cruise.

I should add that we are coming with our kids and I think we'll spend our sea days (since we haven't gone yet) at the pool, flowrider, mini golf, rock wall, plus catching any parades and daytime DreamWorks shows.

An early cup of coffee followed by an early breakfast. Depending on the weather enjoy lounging by the outdoor pool during the quiet morning watching the chair hoggers strategically place their items to appear like they just left. Explore the ship, check the Compass for things to do and go with the flow.

Get up early....go to the deck and see all the chairs are taking... and nobody near them.. but they do come out in a few hours...

Like when the pool attendants time the chairs too...:D

No really I like to get up, have a early breakfast... relax with a good James Patterson book... jump in the hot tub; listen to other people experience and etc.. more sun, eat again and again..

After breakfast we will have a few hours by the pool, love having lunch at Giovanni's ( which was only open for lunch on sea days on my last ship) and since it takes 2 hours and a few glasses of wine to finish lunch , like taking a nap after, we also will try to make as many trivia games as we can.

We usually stay out a bit later the night before a sea day doing some bar hopping. So most sea days start with a late wake up with late breakfast.

Then its some relaxing pool time. Some time contributing to the casino and exploring the ship. Usually an evening nap before pre dinner cocktails.

Last time onboard we had only one sea day. The pool area is so crowded that we just:

Had a late breakfast

Watched the towel folding demo

Sat in on a Q & A with Captain and Sr. Staff

Late Lunch

Booked the next cruise

Hit the pool late in the afternoon when the early diners were getting ready for diner

All with a beverage in hand

Drink

Good point, I am not a heavy drinker and will probably have very little most cruises, but on occasion I will buy one of those bags with multiple beers as a souvenier and empty it by the pool before noon.

We love Sea days. We are early risers. Enjoy our coffees on the balcony, go for light breakfast in WJ then out for a round of mini-putt (HD has best score to beat so far -- 18). Watch the people on the Sports Court, Flowrider and Rock Wall - always fun to see them.

After a quick check of the Internet, then we walk thru the promenade to look at the sales. Change and head to the Solarium to read and swim for awhile. Head to Casino for awhile in the afternoon, have a nap (if any time), dress for dinner and head for cocktails at 5pm.

LOL

At least I know we got a fighting chance for 1st place on Brilliance this year without y'all on the ship.

Our TA paths don't cross this year. Hopefully 2017??

We're still booked on the April 2017 Explorer transpacific.
