The porn was posted right before midnight last. I saw the same poster put it on two different threads. I immediately reported the post (as I'm sure others did also) And I see that the moderators of these boards deleted them. Glad they are here and that they got them off right away.

I see it too & was afraid my iPhone somehow caught a virus (can they even happen?). I'm relieved to know it's not my phone! And relieved my kids weren't looking over my shoulder this morning.

As for being pulled from GMA. Why would some crazy post have anything to do with that??? Bedazzler was no the one that posted it. Still have fingers crosses she will be on. Trying to flip between three channels to catch what any of them have anything on

It was a joke. Guess my sarcasm meter doesn't work as well before coffee.

How silly,

 

You can't get a virus over the Internet, phone, TV or CC message boards... It has to be direct person to person contact.

On the news they had a clip showing people who who wing getting off the ship or saying cruise from hell that they'd never cruise again, I know was a horrible cruise I can imagine what it was like but I feel bad a little from Royal Caribbean. Should I buy their 50% off cruise if they don't want it

I understand where you are coming from, but if Carnival can re-coup from all of the mishaps they have had in the past few years, I think RCCL will be just fine.

Actually it apparently seems that they decided to run the clip but keep us out of it (we only found out when the other groups selected came through the lobby of the hotel and they asked where we were). We had a recording done for "Nightline" while we were at the pier where they asked some general questions - we were both relatively positive about the experience just as I've posted here. The other people selected were much more upset than we were; I imagine we were lead to believe the piece wasn't running because we aren't in it to slander RCI. Shame on ABC for not allowing all sides of the story to be seen.

I'm onboard (in the windjammer right now!) and watched HLN this morning! I had to giggle at some of the passenger's reactions! One complained that we didn't receive any information and it was only every 3 hours. It was more like every 30-60 minutes! Another complained that the details were too much and were scary. Can't please everyone!

 

Was it scary? Yes! Absolutely! Were there a few times I thought we *might* capsize? Truthfully, yes! However, we had 3 great almost-normal days of cruising afterwards and I'm largely over it now. Would I cruise again? Yes!

 

Thanks once again to everyone who followed along and offered words of support! As for everyone else pointing a finger, speculating, and spreading around BS information - I ignored your posts! ;)

Latest update (5:30am EST):

 

Something more important broke out in Oregon so we will not be on GMA. The nice folks at ABC are still dropping us off at JFK.

 

I was looking forward to seeing your smiling face this AM,,,,but they did do an abbreviated interview and so glad they talked to adorable Charlotte. Again, welcome home and hope your flight back home is uneventful, as in NO turbulence. BTW,,wish you were flying my airline home, I'd send those FA's a message to be especially nice to you and BF!!!

wow, that really stinks. But I guess bad news and complainers is what sells.

 

Makes you want to go viral with being "dismissed" for being such a possitive but probably just not worth the effort.

Although I'm sure it was very fright in for all aboard. The way people portray it, like the Capt. Purposely put over 6000 souls at risk. The fact that only four minor injuries were reported, is a testament to the Capt. And ships officers ability to keep the passengers as safe as possible.

 

This was a freak situation, and the Capt. saved lives by using his skills as a seasoned veteran at the helm. But, I've said this on other threads

 

1) Capt. Will be fired. (PR MOVE)

2) ship will have to go into dry dock for hull inspection. (Knee jerk reaction)

3) next 2 cruises will be canceled.("Sorry folks, Wally World is closed. The moose out front should of told ya")

I hate that they do that!! I would be willing to bet that's what it is. We were at a big festival once some in our group were interviewed by dateline. They were positive about what was going on some were totally cut out of the show and others were edited so badly they looked like they couldn't put a full sentence together! Media stinks and totally sways people to what they want you to see!!
