cruisewiththekids Posted February 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2016 Is it enough time to arrive 2 hours before my flight for a flight to the US from Barcelona? I have not flown internationally much, so what will be the process? Thanks.
Clarea Posted February 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2016 I would be uncomfortable with anything less than 2 hours, and would shoot for more leeway if you can.
Rare Keith1010 Posted February 28, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 28, 2016 I always think it is wise to arrive at least two hours before your flight. I would check with your airline to see what their requirement is too. Keith

For peace of mind I would suggest you have a 2.5-3 hour leeway.
hbrote Posted February 28, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 28, 2016 I will second campolady's suggestions the airport can be really tight especially when a couple of cruise ships debark...... I like three hours, then there should be less stress before the flight.
MommaBear55 Posted February 28, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 28, 2016 And that is three hours at the airport, so allow sufficient time to disembark, clear customs there and get to the airport.
syesmar Posted March 1, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 1, 2016 If your airline has a priority check-in option (included with some fares or for purchase, or as a credit card benefit, etc.), it helps save considerable time in line.
Baseball fan Posted March 4, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 4, 2016 I've found that most ticket counters don't open until 2 hours before the morning flights. However I've had to wait in long lines and got to the gate when my flight was boarding. I recommend more than 2 hours....
