MikeBTN Posted March 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2016 Myself, wife, 3 yr old boy, 6 yr old boy are currently booked in connecting interior rooms. We like the idea of two bathrooms & "separate" space - they go to bed a lot earlier than we do!! JS guarantee has just opened up that would add about $1.5k (~30% increase). We also like the idea of the large balcony. And there's always that slim chance that we get bumped up to GS or higher. Today is final payment (interiors are already paid for)......what would you do? Virtopia Posted March 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2016 The JS. I believe you'd get bonus points.
debgreg Posted March 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2016 I would save my money and stick. Is having a balcony worth the additional money and losing the two beds/baths, only you know the answer to that :)
artypharty Posted March 15, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2016 I love the JS, but if I had little kids with me, I'd opt for the 2 interiors, for just the reasons you mentioned... two bathrooms and a separate sleeping space. How much more would connecting ocean views be? Check the family ocean views. I've been in the FOV's with the grand kids and they have a separate little bunk room that works great. The Fun Researcher Posted March 15, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 15, 2016 We really enjoy our connecting interior cabins. The kids love having "their own room". Two full bathrooms are great. Lots of space for storage also. Dan

I forgot about these! You can't book them on the website. I'll have my TA call, thanks! Since we're so close to sailing there are no connecting ocean views. tartan cruiser Posted March 15, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 15, 2016 I agree with the 2 insides. Just did the exact same thing in January and it worked perfectly. Kids are 4 and 6. Saving money a bonus.
wenny101 Posted March 15, 2016 #10 Share Posted March 15, 2016 Leaving in a few weeks with two inside connecting cabins because our kids are Going with us, I feel like saving the money and 2 bathrooms and Tv's is more important when traveling with the Kids. MikeBTN Posted March 15, 2016 Author #11 Share Posted March 15, 2016 Thanks everyone for the input! Mom and dad would LOVE a large balcony, but I think the best thing for the family is to stick with the two insides. Glad to see most everyone here feels the same way!
