No, only "J" category insides have the virtual balcony. I believe those are only located on decks 9 and 10. Edited by clarea
Thanks, it's the only way I could handle an inside I think
I'd compare the cost for the least expensive OV stateroom. I'd rather have the natural light.

of course not. only some cabins are/will ever be designated a VB.

I DO NOT like the VB. one it's in a weird spot. two, its never truly 'off' and the glare can be eye straining at night. three, the 'view' is just off enough to mess with your vision(think staring at yoru computer screen too long) Edited by spookwife

From RCCL FAQ

Will there be an ?On/Off? switch for the virtual balcony view in the interior staterooms - Royal Caribbean International Print This Page Q: Will there be an On/Off switch for the virtual balcony view in the interior staterooms? A: Yes, guests will have the option of having the screen either on or off.

We liked ours. It made the room seem larger. And it has curtains that can be drawn to totally hide the screen. Nothing but a slight halo around the screen at night, just enough to provide unobstructed access to the toilet. I loved this feature. The sound was also nice. It put me to sleep for daytime napping several times. We were given the cabin on a GTY, but I might hesitate to pay extra for it.

Great to hear this. We will be on (in?) our first virtual balcony on the Explorer in September for Alaska
