Chief Vette Posted May 7, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2016 Any experiencing a problem when accessing Princess.com using Firefox web browser? Mine locks up on both PCs running MS Windows 10. The web site connects fine using MS Edge web browser. Thank you.
CATGUY7 Posted May 7, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2016 I also had problems yesterday morning. I used Explorer and it took me right to the site. I'm guessing it's a Firefox issue.
TwoBadKnees Posted May 7, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2016 I'm still having problems. I haven't updated my Firefox in awhile, so the version of Firefox that was working a few days ago is still the one I'm using now. I haven't investigated if it's an add-on issue related to blocking ads, flash, etc. My Firefox doesn't have problems on any other Carnival Corp sites I frequent. Thorpe Posted May 7, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 7, 2016 I had issues a few hours ago with Firefox freezing Princess site. But it worked ok an hour or so ago.
TwoBadKnees Posted May 7, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 7, 2016 My Firefox is still hanging. I disabled my add-ons and the Princess.com site hangs trying to retrieve data from servedby.flashtalking.com
Eaglecw Posted May 7, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 7, 2016 I’m also having problems with Fire Fox and the Princess web site on my PC, my lap top works fine. I typed in “Mozilla Fire Fox Not Responding” into my search engine and found a fix, I guess there are a lot of people having problems.

Alaska05 Posted May 7, 2016 #8 Share Posted May 7, 2016 Me too! Started yesterday and still won't work today. Have the latest version of Firefox and using Windows 7. Had to go back to using Internet Explorer for Princess. Glad it's not just me.
hpeabody Posted May 7, 2016 #9 Share Posted May 7, 2016 No issues for me. I'm using Firefox v44.0.1 and Windows 7 64 bit. I used the search for a cruise and cruise personalizer features yesterday and this morning. It had been a while since I needed to access Princess.com, but I booked a cruise with my online TA yesterday. I sure do not like the new look of the cruise personalizer. With the current background and style I find it hard on the eyes to easily see your information. The white background and spread out the way it was for me is much better. hpeabody Posted May 7, 2016 #16 Share Posted May 7, 2016 Hmmmmm, I did not realize my Firefox is not the latest (v46) at this moment. I wonder if the updated version has something to do with this issue? Mine (v44.0.1) seems to be working fine. Maybe I will wait to update.
hbrote Posted May 7, 2016 #17 Share Posted May 7, 2016 Update 43.0.1 does not work. I uninstalled and I am currently running 39.0 and it works fine.
chinorider Posted May 7, 2016 #18 Share Posted May 7, 2016 Add me to the list of those not having fun with Princess.com and Firefox. Looking at Princess code and nothing jumps out to me. Called Princess Customer No-Service and the lady told me I should take a computer class !! Unbelievable service. I have never had this kind of CS from Princess before. Maybe it is time to move on to another cruise provider.

notentirelynormal Posted May 7, 2016 #20 Share Posted May 7, 2016 Still locking me out as well. It freezes and I had to DEL ALT CTRL to end the session. I can get in with IE but that is not my usual brower and I hate using it. Come on Princess - we Firefox people like to cruise too. :(

TwoBadKnees Posted May 8, 2016 #24 Share Posted May 8, 2016 Fix: Princess now works on my Firefox. I turned off Hardware Acceleration. Go to Menu / Options / Advanced / UnCheck "Use Hardware Acceleration" Restart Firefox. Good luck. I hope it works for you, too. Hopefully Princess and/or Mozilla will change whatever caused the conflict.
