Sauer-kraut Posted February 25, 2018 #51 Share Posted February 25, 2018 Don't send out your delicates, do those in the sink easier yet is to just wash them while you're taking a shower.. There is a washing line in the shower.
zdcatc12 Posted February 25, 2018 #52 Share Posted February 25, 2018 It was $19.99 per bag and with our Gold discount, it was $14.98 per bag. Shouldn't this have been $10 per bag since the discount is 50%, not 25%?
jjikids Posted February 26, 2018 #53 Share Posted February 26, 2018 so do you think it’s all in cold or warm water? i guess what i’m getting at is i don’t want anything ruined/shrunk (washed in hot water!)! During the behind the scenes tour, they showed us how they tagged all the clothing and then sorted them. I still did NOT send out any clothing I was afraid would shrink. DH did send out all his clothing. I only sent my socks. Came back very nicely folded and in good condition.

They wash in cold water using laundry detergent only (no other chemicals that they use on napkins, tablecloths, etc.)
Rare BirdTravels Posted February 26, 2018 #55 Share Posted February 26, 2018 Strange question - do you get the option of how you want it washed (i.e. in the temperature of water)? Undergarmets are much different than jeans/pants! 11-night cruise (3 weeks away from home) is coming up soon and I’m trying to get this figured out! [emoji4] No. All laundry is tagged and thrown together in a common washer (just like your local cleaners at home). Our platinum group all saw our laundry during our BTS tour. cbr Posted February 26, 2018 #56 Share Posted February 26, 2018 Is there self-serve laundry on the Breakaway?
dexddd Posted February 26, 2018 #57 Share Posted February 26, 2018 Is there self-serve laundry on the Breakaway? No, never was. NCL ships which did have self serve were removed about 10 years ago.
