TSA Pre Check at San Juan Airport???

I asked this on the Celebrity board, but thought I would put it out here as well, since Royal does San Juan year round.

 

According to the TSA web site, TSA Pre Check is available in San Juan as Follows:

 

Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU)

 

Participating Airlines

Air Canada

American Airlines

Cape Air

Delta Air Lines

Seaborne Airlines

Southwest Airlines

United Airlines

 

Has anyone found this to be the case?

Has anyone found this NOT to be the case?

 

Just double checking the TSA. (Now why would anyone do that?) ;)

We just used AA for our cruise trip home...had TSA Pre-check but it did us no good at SJU...we arrived at approx 8:00am and that checkin line (the agents told us) had just "closed"...just our luck...Why would they decide to close it with a cruise ship in and many heading to SJU at that time frame ...your timing may find it open but ours didn't :confused::(:rolleyes:

2015 we fly Delta and the Pre Check line was available. The only issue was it was longer and slower than the non Pre Check lines. Damn the luck!

We LOVE cruising out of San Juan but prepare for the unexpected at SJU. Things never seem to go as expected there.

We had the same issue with TSA PreCheck last summer in SJU. That line was way longer than the normal line... crazy! Not sure if they just understaff that line or what, but it would have been much faster to be in the regular line.

I seem to run into the same problems with no TSA pre check line in Baltimore...I fly out of there several times a year & have yet to catch the line open...
