NO More Lobster Dinner on any night including formal nights/without a fee?

RCCL specifically on Serenade of the Seas no longer offers Lobster dinners even on formal nights? Is this really true? For a $35.00 fee only?

On Radiance last month had lobster tails on the 2nd formal night. (DS had 2 along with his steak). On the menu other nights for extra cost but was a regular entree on 2nd formal night

Not heard of that - but that doesn't mean it isn't so. But traditionally the "fisherman's platter" is offered on all US based itineraries of 5 nights or longer on the second formal night (on 7 nights up - the only on 5 niights) which includes small lobster tails and shrimp. The $35 charge is for a significantly more upscale lobster, typically from Chops that is served per order in the MDR.

The ship is currently in Europe, on the way to Canada.

 

The only place Lobster is offered is when the ships sail out of U.S. Ports

 

This is not new. I'm sure once the ship starts sailing from the U.S. again lobster will be offered

Others are correct, Serenade is in Europe or on the Transatlantic on the way back. Those sailings do not have Lobster for free on formal night. Once sailing back from the US, the normal lobster should be back.

We were on Harmony last week - Atlantic lobster tails served on the first formal night (we embarked on Rome so it may have been the second formal night for those who embarked in Barcelona).
