Anyone get additional perks yet in a suite?

My question is, with FTTF the perks are priority tender and faster into your suite and the line in GS, anything else? Do these things except for the "GS" line come with a suite? All I really care about is getting on and off the ship. I don't care if the suite isn't ready for another hour. Is it worth $65 X's 4 people???

I've never booked a suite with Carnival until now but have several times on RCI.

Yes suites have Priorty embark and disbark. Plus priorty tender

We have an Ocean Suite booked on the Breeze in November. Our luggage tags say "Priority" and have the FTTF logo. Our boarding passes only say "Priority" - no FTTF logo.

No thats weird because I just got the ocean suite on the breeze in November and all I have is priority on mind.

The FTTF is $65 x 1 person, you don't have to buy it for everyone in your cabin, its a little misleading. We had an Ocean Suite in Feb on our cruise out of San Juan, and bought FTTF, we didn't get a free bag of laundry, I brought supplies and did it myself. I also have purchased FTTF for our upcoming February cruise and we have a suite, I will not cancel our FTTF unless there is something in writing that it is now a suite perk. I am 9 days away from platinum and this cruise is only 7 days 😞.

We were on the splendor September 10 to 18th. We are platinum and had an ocean suite. Our friends are not platinum and also had an ocean suite. Our luggage tags were printed with faster to the fun logo but our friends were not. So I'm guessing the fitf on the tags was for platinum not for the suite. But suites always board early along with diamond, platinum and fitf. We received a a water bottle each for being a return guest and one bottle each for being in a suite. We did receive twice a day service but did have to ask for it. We received great service. There was not enhanced turn down service. Maybe they will still add it at some point.

I know someone who boarded the Glory yesterday that has a suite. They were told by the check in people that they could go right to their cabin. Well it wasn't ready and they boarded at 11:20am. So it appears that the check in agents and CSRs are misinformed and are giving guests the wrong info. I hope Carnival gets this corrected ASAP. You do not get the same perks as FTTF and that means your cabin isn't ready at embarkation. Keep your FTTF, suite guests!

Don't know why it is showing up so crappy here. Sorry. There is nothing special on the list. Confirmed dining preference, 2 large bottles of water, one bag of laundry, priority debark at ports of call and home port.

So pretty much the suites are now getting the same "perks" as Platinum guests - except Platinum gets more bags of laundry!

No. the cabin isn't ready at embarkation, no dedicated GS line, no priority luggage delivery (at least not officially), no free drink coupon for brunch, no lovely Croc visor, etc. Suite guest perks aren't on par with Platinum.

Just got off Valor this morning. We were in Captain's Suite 9202. We got the 2 extra bottles of water, room was cleaned twice( without asking), nothing really special about the enhanced turn down service, no specialty chocolates. We're Platinum so we have priority embarkation, free laundry, and water. We got fruit basket, Champagne (2) from the Hotel Director, so i don't know if that's part of the perks or just because we were at the Captain's Suite.

The basket and champy are captain's suite perks.

We will be sailing on Carnival for the first time in a suite. We like being in a suite. I am happy to be in a suite but I don't see a lot of perks compared to suites on Princess, which is all that we are used to, such as priority embarkation and de-barkation (same on both?), priority tender (same on both?), champagne on arrival, flowers in cabin, room service 2x day, room service from MDR if desired, separate shower from tub, mini bar setup 1x. and specialty restaurant breakfast to name those I remember. Any of the others the same? Just wondering what to expect. Thank you so much!

So far it's Suppose to be Priority embark and disbark, Priorty Tender, Priorty dining times, 2 Free lg bottles of water, 1 free bag of laundry , luggage has FTTF , enhanced turndown service, better linens than other cabins

Also on Grand Suites on the Vista there's coffee makers........John Heald stated months ago there's still Unannounced suite perks coming that would make everyone happy......First he stated they'd be announced by Sept when

The daily suite gratuities went up in price.....Now he's backtracked and said the date is still soon but doesn't know exactly when

The bathroom in the suites is much bigger and there's a full size jet bathtub

We've been getting suites for a long time just due to more room and the bathroom setup......Wifey mainly.....if it were up

To me I'd be happy with a balcony

Hopefully the Suite perks will get better and at least slightly comparable to other cruise lines

I just got off the Carnival Splendor this past Saturday and I was in the Captains Suite. The perks were what everyone has discussed. Priority embark, disembark, tender service, service on cabin twice a day, one bottle of water per person in the cabin (there were 5 of us so 5 bottles) and a bigger room and the bag of laundry. We did get the dining we wanted but were disappointed with where our table was located. We were going to change but our waitstaff were excellent - so they trumped the location.

My inlaws are platinum so some of this we would have had regardless.

If there is an enhanced turndown service - I did not see it. No chocolates on the pillows, no champagne, nothing. There were two platters of cookies delivered during the week but they were from the casino.

I will say that the cabin was absolutely fantastic! Having the two bathrooms is priceless. The view looking out the front of the ship was great - especially when we had a detour on Friday to oversee the rescue of 13 Cubans trying to escape Cuba.

I hope this helps!

I was hoping they would put the new suite perks in place before our cruise next month but in true Carnival fashion it looks like they will drag their feet for months and months past their proposed date and they won't go into effect until after we sail. Our April cruise is in a regular balcony, not a suite so they won't do us any good then. Oh well, what can ya do? lol

I would love to know if I get all the FTTF perks as Suite perks, now. I would gladly drop my FTTF, and get my $60 back, while freeing up a FTTF for someone on my sailing who wants it. But I'm not about to drop it until I get some official confirmation that I can print out and take with me, stating unequivocally that all of the FTTF perks are now included with my Suite, just in case I were to have trouble getting my perks (for instance, VIP GS line). If Suite guests aren't getting the FTTF logo medallion on their boarding passes (not just luggage tags), then it stands to reason they aren't getting the FTTF sticker on their S&S cards, and so they won't be getting all the FTTF perks. I'm not holding my breath for any official confirmation before my cruise on the 25th of this month, though. I'll most likely end up hanging on to my FTTF, just to make sure that I have all the perks.

I'm platinum, my brother is gold. We both got grand suites and all the tags say priority. We sail in 10 days on the splendor. I hope it's the same for you!

We are booked in an ocean suite for our second cruise and we do not have FTTF. My luggage tags say FTTF. Guess that's part of the new perk.

Suites have always gotten priority boarding. The FFTF on the tags is so you get your luggage as soon as possible - something that was added not that long ago.

Happy Cruzin in my post I was point out that when you don't have diamond or platinum status the new perk is showing up. That's what this thread is all about "anyone get additional perks yet in a suite". In my reading of this thread I learned many people who book suites happen to receive the perks anyway from their diamond or platinum status. Since Carnival's website isn't very clear yet about the new perks I thought as a red I could show that I am seeing the express luggage.

I think you were trying to be helpful in your post by pointing out suites always had priority (which I didn't say that I didn't know), but I actually found your comment to be condescending. I am sure that was not your intent.

Not my intent at all. Just trying to clarify for those who may not have known.

I recently upgraded my reservation to a suite, and the perks they listed on the phone included all FTTF perks except the early cabin availability. I can understand that they wouldn't include that. Suites are usually located together in clusters, so a steward will probably have all or most suites on his/her list, if any. How are they supposed to get them all ready for the earliest boarding time? At least with the Platinum and FTTF cases, it is likely to be spread out somewhat evenly.

You were told suites were able to use the dedicated Guest Service line?

We leave Sunday for our cruise, I just spoke to someone and she said they were told guest services line included. Not included was room ready, and luggage would not be in room early Got me. Guess I'll find out Sunday. All I care about is that I finally got an aft wrap around suite with a connecting cabin! Can't wait!
