mafig Posted November 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 17, 2016 (edited) If you had to make a decision quickly because of an upcoming sale, which deck would you select for a Junior Suite on Allure? We would like the hump and would not want a connecting cabin. I read awhile back that many of you like Deck 6. Now Deck 6 would probably be one of my last choices when booking a cabin, but the posts pointed out many positives about that deck that I was not aware of. That's the kind of feedback I'd like:o Edited November 17, 2016 by mafig
Clarea Posted November 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 17, 2016 I'd prefer deck 8, because of the proximity to Central Park, but I'd be happy with decks 6 through 12.
kalliekae Posted November 17, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 17, 2016 We always book Deck 8 because of Central Park. We are staying in 8640 which is a JS on the hump again next year because we really liked that cabin on our last cruise.
setsail Posted November 17, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 17, 2016 I would look at the deck plans and see which deck is closest to the things you will do most, such as the sports deck.
dacsmom Posted November 18, 2016 #5 Share Posted November 18, 2016 I had one on Deck 8 and loved it.

Had to book them the day itineraries were released. Chose on Bob's advice. 😁 Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Forums mobile app Edited November 18, 2016 by John&LaLa

atnolan94 Posted November 18, 2016 #11 Share Posted November 18, 2016 Just to riterate. I would say ANY hump over any non-hump. But I chose deck 10 because it is just 2 down go CP, and only a handful up to the pools/WJ. I'm keeping my eye out for a deck 12 cabin. Because the JSs are mid-ship, even though it is a touch further, use the front elevators on the ship as they are less crowded...just a side note to make getting around easier. That will make deck selection less critical.
mafig Posted November 18, 2016 Author #12 Share Posted November 18, 2016 A lot of the hump js's are connecting.:(
readytolose Posted November 18, 2016 #13 Share Posted November 18, 2016 Another vote for Deck 8. We had 8642 and loved the location. It was a connecting cabin but we never had any problems with noise from the other room.
