Things seemed to have stalled in Fort Lauderdale!

There wasn't any VIP party on our 21 day Westerdam cruise.

Just an invitation to the Officers cocktail party. About 20 of us were invited. Just a handful of officers -- only a couple circulated around.

 

Attended the Captain's cocktail party on the Eurodam last year and they served my beloved Guinness...

They gave out a lot of free drinks on embarkation party. Two Collectors cocktail party, 2 suites cocktail party and luncheon and VIP parties. Officers showed for all. It was like days of old.

21 days and we had only that one party.

No invitation to the embarkation cocktail party held in the afternoon, no suite cocktail party.

Basically -- nothing.

VIP party was held on our Westerdam cruise on October. One of the officers approached us by the Seaview and asked if we had a list of our CC group onboard. I said the closest would be the roll call on CC. Pretty much everyone on the roll call was invited- I say pretty much everyone because they forgot us (the ones they asked). Lots of apologies from several people the next day.
