Patriots Playoff Game

Hi Everyone :) We'll be cruising for the first Patriots playoff game on January 14th. Game is at 8:15 pm. I thought I read somewhere on the boards that if the game is in the evening they'll show it at the pool movie screen? That would be awesome. If not, where will they show it, if at all. I can't imagine they won't be airing the NFL playoffs.

I'd expect the game to be on the pool big screen. It will also likely be on in the On Air Club and stateroom TVs.

We will also be cruising on the Enchantment during the game. Yes, they will show it and it will be fun.

I'm bringing my Pats jersey to represent. You will see a lot of people in shirts/jerseys.

Yes, we have cruised several times during the football season but haven't had luck with Celebrity showing the games. One year they had it on a 36" TV in the casino and that was it. Probably a dozen bar stools and no standing room. Sounds like RCCI understands the importance of a Patriots football game, hope my daughter can find something to entertain her for 3 hours our first night :D

 

For anyone on the IOS January 14th, I will be representing, look for the short woman in a WILFORK jersey and say hi :)

On Allure they showed it on the screens in the aqua theater and also in the On Air Club. There were lots of people wearing their team apparel. It was a great time, unfortunately the Muster drill was right at the last half hour of our game so they had to shut the game off. We watched the end of the game on our phone while waiting for everyone to show up for the drill.

They put out inflatable chairs, but they are all under inflated :p Its quite likely you are right, listen to the CD's announcements, the few times I've been on a ship during a major sporting event, it gets mentioned. What ship? < looked back at your signature and I am guessing you are on Independence so the pool deck is a good chance of showing it. (Assuming Indy has the TV on the pool deck, I have only been on Freedom in that class.

Dolphin fan hoping, praying, wishing that the 3rd time might be the charm. If you make it past Pittsburgh, good luck...I believe this season BB has your number and so far it is 0-2 :D

Took a Super Bowl cruise with Princess in Feb 2016. They showed the game on one screen in one lounge. Not even in the biggest lounge. I'll never cruise with Princess on Super Bowl weekend again.

I'm not worried. We pulled the best record of the season using 2nd and 3rd string quarterbacks, lost our main man Gronk, injuries galore and yet...yes, best record. I'll save the gloating for the Superbowl. :p

 

Best of luck to everyone in the playoffs. Its been a great season. And a big YOU'RE WELCOME to Cleveland for Collins, it was the least we could do. (That's what happens when you get on BB's bad side). Maybe we'll send you a coach next year and really help you out, then the rest is up to you.

There IS more than one team in the NFL besides the Patriots. If they show the Pats playoff game, they'll most likely show all 4 that weekend. What ship are you sailing? Not all RCCL ships have the On Air club.

On Oasis Dec. 18-23 they had football game on 2 big screens by AquaTheater and on cabin TV. Don't know if anywhere else.
