Miami Airport to cruise port--how far?

Hi all,

 

We thought transfers were included in our cruise package on Regatta coming up soon, but they are not. How far is it to the cruise terminal from the Miami airport, and is a cab the only reasonable way to travel? How much time does this trip usually take? We should get in after morning rush hour.

Did you pay the Oceania transfers? it should tell you on your invoice

 

Usually 20-30 mins drive to the port

Taxi cost is flat rate to the port $27 + tip

You could use Uber or private car service

a taxi is usually the easiest as there are lots of them waiting outside baggage claim

Execucar is about $65. Taxi around $40.

Oceania does not usually include transfers unless you are taking their hotel package or purchase them

Further to what Lyn said, you would have paid for the transfer if you aren't using their hotel package. And it would have been a very noticeable amount!

Three cruises in '13, '15 & 16 averaged 15 to 30 minutes to the airport traffic depending. It's negotiating the cruise terminal that's the major delay/hassel.
