skrapngal Posted January 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2017 Just wondering if they are open and whether that might be a "not so busy" place to have lunch.
Clarea Posted January 22, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2017 (edited) Saw that JR was open at 11am on Anthem on boarding day in one of the posted Compasses. Edited January 22, 2017 by clarea

Flatbush Flyer Posted January 22, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 22, 2017 Just wondering if they are open and whether that might be a "not so busy" place to have lunch. If folks have tasted the food at Johnny Rockets, it won't be busy. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rare vacationlover_mn Posted January 22, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 22, 2017 Follow on question- if it's open at embarkation, is it free or still a cover charge? Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
Rare John&LaLa Posted January 22, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 22, 2017 Cover charge. $6.95, but includes soda now Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Forums mobile app
Clarea Posted January 22, 2017 #8 Share Posted January 22, 2017 (edited) Follow on question- if it's open at embarkation, is it free or still a cover charge? If the OP is sailing on Anthem, JR is a la carte pricing. JR has not been free for at least 10 years. Edited January 22, 2017 by clarea
monctonguy Posted January 23, 2017 #9 Share Posted January 23, 2017 I know that often they will have some 20% off at JR's on embarkation day. Usually not busy there so much nicer to eat than the Windjammer...not to mention some of the view when sitting outside and eating there.
cruise pup Posted January 23, 2017 #10 Share Posted January 23, 2017 Cover charge. $6.95, but includes soda now Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Forums mobile app Better it should include Maalox!
pinkrosesdeb Posted January 23, 2017 #11 Share Posted January 23, 2017 It wasn't open at embarkation on Freedom.
Sunny AZ Girl Posted January 23, 2017 #12 Share Posted January 23, 2017 It wasn't open at embarkation on Freedom. Darn! I was hoping for that on the TA next October. I like to miss the Windjammer chaos on embarkment day whenever possible. On the Oasis Class we have been going to Sabor on embarkment day and that has worked out well.
