satxdiver Posted January 26, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 26, 2017 You may have to look for the warmers in an outdoors sporting goods store which should have them. They are used by backpackers and outdoorsmen.

mybichon Posted January 26, 2017 #8 Share Posted January 26, 2017 I use the Thermacare heat packs when I cruise for my lower back pain issues. They stay hot for a long time and don't take up much room in your suitcase.
Kartgv Posted January 26, 2017 #9 Share Posted January 26, 2017 Even better & much cheaper in the long run, look on Amazon for an old-fashioned hot water bottle. The tap water in the bathroom gets hot enough to feel great (or if not, order a kettle of hot water from room service), it's easy to pack flat, and you could also fill it with ice instead of hot water if you needed to. Mine worked great for a muscle spasm on the last cruise.

JF - retired RRT Posted January 26, 2017 #11 Share Posted January 26, 2017 Actually, I'm pretty sure there are microwaves in the kitchen...but not for passenger use and no way for non-food items. On our last cruise DH mentioned to one of the buffet waiters that he always felt the coffee wasn't hot enough. The waiter swished the coffee into the kitchen and came back a couple of minutes later with his coffee so hot it was steaming. And, yes, it was the same coffee. He'd already added his cream & sugar.
