Cap'n Ron Posted February 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2017 Per MSC Fans Facebook page, they state MSC Seaside, MSC Divina and MSC Meraviglia will all be in Miami in 2019. Has anyone else heard this? Very cool if true! Would love the opportunity to sail on the Meraviglia in the Caribbean. I guess MSC is getting very serious about the US market. Cap'n Ron Posted February 2, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted February 2, 2017 We were told at the CC meeting on Divina last week that Divina will be in Alaska in 2019. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app I had heard that as well. I think it will be in Miami during the winter months though. Glad they will bring Divina back after Seaside arrives. Cap'n Ron Posted February 2, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted February 2, 2017 It's official, article from USA Today. Sounds like MSC is gearing up for a big push into the US market. http://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/cruises/2017/01/03/msc-cruises-meraviglia-ship/95697506/ Sent from my XT1095 using Forums mobile app
Rare eroller Posted February 2, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 2, 2017 I just read on Seatrade Insider that a Meraviglia-Class ship will be coming to Miami, but it didn't say which one. It could be MERAVIGLIA herself, or one of her sisters under construction. Also it was not confirmed as a year-round deployment, so it could be seasonal. Cap'n Ron Posted February 2, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted February 2, 2017 I just read on Seatrade Insider that a Meraviglia-Class ship will be coming to Miami, but it didn't say which one. It could be MERAVIGLIA herself, or one of her sisters under construction. Also it was not confirmed as a year-round deployment, so it could be seasonal. The article did make it sound like it could be a Meraviglia Plus ship with maybe a 2nd to come. That's a lot of new capacity. Will be interesting to see has things develop! Exciting for MSC fans. Rare Beamafar Posted March 15, 2017 #11 Share Posted March 15, 2017 Meraviglia's going to get a lot more attention now! Will make a change from all the Seaside threads. Just over 13 weeks before we get to see her in all her glory - and everything new on her, too :D

Rare Beamafar Posted March 17, 2017 #19 Share Posted March 17, 2017 Thanks, Cap'n .................. I hope to have a very favourable report to write :) With a bit of luck, there won't be too many glitches - and minor ones at that - to be ironed out.
