Casino winnings

I have done a search and could not find the answer I was looking for. I know if you play in the casino you load any money left when you are done playing to your cruise card. If you win can you cash out everyday? I use my winnings for port shopping and don't really like this system. I was on Norwegian last year and always got a voucher and cashed out to put winnings in the safe for the next port day. I was able to purchase all my gifts and souvenirs with my winnings. I don't want to get locked out of my account if I decide to cash out daily. I am bringing cash to gamble so want my money daily. Thanks for any advice.

You can cash out as often as you like.

I have had 2 winning cruises. Over 1000 each. And yes you can cash out each day.

I know shocking! I actually won almost every time I played. I cashed out $120.00, $100.00 and $80.00 3 nights running and also some smaller wins. I actually came home with more money than I left with.

They do frown on using your casino account as an ATM, i.e. put card in slot machine, move money from on board account to casino account and then cash out without actually gambling.

Any time the machine pays out even a penny, the casino records it as "Coin Out". Unfortunately there's the other term, "Coin In" and that's the sum of all your bets.

 

Some folks will tell you they've "won" using what is effectively their total "Coin Out" number while ignoring their total "Coin In". :eek:

 

I've never experienced "Coin Out" being larger than "Coin In". At best, both are ZERO because I stayed out of the casino.

I have read that they sometimes freeze an account if you try to cash out.

I know about trying to cash out OBC. That is not what I want to do. If I put $10.00 in and have $100.00 after I am done playing I want to cash out to use the money to purchase things in port. I will then use another $10.00-$20.00 next time. As I stated before I came home with more money than I left with and paid for all my port purchases with my winnings. If they freeze my account they are out money if I happen to lose which does happen. Thanks for all the input. I will also ask at the casino when I board. This is why I don't like the system. They want you to wait until the last night to cash out, but I am on a strict budget and if I win I need those funds to help me along.

No problem cashing out. I actually had the opportunity to do what you are asking one time. Seriously, they do not freeze your winnings on Princess (at least in my experience). Have fun if you are lucky.....;)

On Princess you can cash out anytime the cashier window is open.
