shanni-shanni Posted February 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2017 Can anyone tell me what their experience is? We had many Pinnacle Grill dinners on HAL ships and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves but we are also curious about LeCirque. Tom
sammygoose Posted February 17, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2017 I was at Le Cirque last Saturday and it was excellent. It was on the Westerdam though.

Krazy Kruizers Posted February 17, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 17, 2017 We have gone to all Le Cirques that were offered on all our cruise. It is a limited menu. We have enjoyed it very much. One thing we tried the first time it was offered was the wine pairing. JMO -- not worth the price -- just every day wines. We prefer to have either cocktails or buy a wine bottle of our choice. djhsolara Posted February 18, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 18, 2017 I suggest if you want to try it, you better do it soon. Word is that the contract is over with Le Cirque and it will soon disappear. It was not offered on Koningsdam, but they did have De Librije. Krazy Kruizers Posted February 18, 2017 #10 Share Posted February 18, 2017 Hal is having problems with Sirio Maccioni and prices of Le Cirque. Thus it is being replaced with Sel de Mer. I read here that people on June cruises were told that Le Cirque was being replaced by Sel de Mer.
djhsolara Posted February 18, 2017 #11 Share Posted February 18, 2017 Sel de Mer was awesome on Koningsdam. I'm hoping it translates well into what they're going to do on the other ships. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Cache Trekker Posted February 19, 2017 #12 Share Posted February 19, 2017 The best meal we ever had on a cruise was at Le Cirque. I'm sorry it's coming to an end. Sent from my iPad using Forums
msmayor Posted February 19, 2017 #13 Share Posted February 19, 2017 I'm glad we decided to book it on our upcoming cruise. It seems like a wonderful way to experience the type of dining we so rarely get the chance to enjoy.
Rare geoherb Posted February 19, 2017 #14 Share Posted February 19, 2017 We enjoyed our Le Cirque dinners on the Westerdam and Veendam. We decided not to book it on our cruise last week on the Zuiderdam because by the time it was held, we had finally had tablemates and we did not want to miss dinner with them. DH was disappointed when he saw that they had not decorated the Pinnacle Grill fully as they had on our other ships. They had the Le Cirque dishes but did not have the photos around the room as previous ships had done. DH has always ordered the chateaubriand, and I've ordered the lamb and the seabass as my main courses. Everything is wonderful.
RandyinDEN Posted February 19, 2017 #15 Share Posted February 19, 2017 We were told last week that LeCirque will be gone fleetwide in May 2017 and the menu's are out at the ships already for it's replacement.
frankc98376 Posted February 19, 2017 #16 Share Posted February 19, 2017 We were told last week that LeCirque will be gone fleetwide in May 2017 and the menu's are out at the ships already for it's replacement. Hopefully someone can get the new menu for us. I know it is Sel de Mer but I'm sure a slimmed down version of the menu.
