suites priority debarkation?

How does Celebrity priority suite debarkation compare to RCI, please? On RCI suite guests meet at a designated area, usually the suite or concierge lounge, and are escorted off the ship by the concierge, bypassing many people in lines as they debark. Then the concierge leads us up to the front of the customs lines, continuing to bypass many waiting customers. On some ships, Liberty for instance, the concierge leads us to a dedicated customs line for suites and Pinnacles only.

It is great.

In October we were on a b2b on Infinity. Our first disembark took almost an hour. The second one took less than 5 minutes.

We stood in NO lines.

There was a dedicated porter in the terminal.

We were whisked to a waiting customs agent, who quickly waved us through.

Luggage tags we got (we were in the PH) said VIP....

It was awesome....

Yes suites are allowed off after the people who self disembark. You wait in Michaels Club (very civilized). Then the concierge escorts you to the gangway. When you get to the luggage area the suites and zenith will be in a separate area. Pick up your luggage and an agent will get you into the customs line. If they are ignoring you I just politely say suites and that seems to get their attention.

On the Infinity cruise mentioned above, we stood for almost 2 hrs on the self disembark line close to front. There was a delay in the ship being cleared to leave....and many attempts by others to cut ahead by late arrivals.

Before the self disembark line was moved into elevs to get off in small groups, suite guests were brought down ahead ( not sure if it was ALL suite guests or just self disembark suite guests)

Suite perks on X are excellent.. We are thinking we should cruise less often and try one. AQ at this point is good but not great, and we do miss Michaels..( formerly a lounge for Elite guests)

Howdy, hcat!!!!

Yes, definitely try a suite; you'll love Luminae....

For my upcoming perkless repo cruise, the Woo Hooers have both PH suites, and adjoining S1s. There was very little discounting; but early one morning the price of the remaining CS cabins were reduced by 50%. It didn't last long though.... This was about a month after final payment.

Aren't you able to sail on ahort notice? Has Sal retired?

Hi Cheryl....

We are both ret...snowbirds right now in Fl...hope to see Kurt & Gina soon. Sal has a summer job (golf)..i do a few days a month..short notice is Ok depending on airfare and cruise cost.

Where are the Woo Hoos headed next?

Our next cruise is on Inf to Ca, but seems too late to snag a suite. We.will keep looking. After that our Silho in Jan 2018 is sold out already except insides...but we are giving suites a closer look in the future...the perks are very tempting & we like our perks..

Happy Sailing!
