We've done it frequently. Use Uber. Cost varies from $35 to $42 depending on time of day and traffic. This is for two people and three bags.

The last time we did this was before uber existed and a taxi was usually around $70! I will definitely be using uber

I have used http://www.ridesas.com a number of times. It's a van service with others in the van. Cost was about $30 for the two of us.

Does the same apply from Miami to Fort Laudadale?

Yes. We've cruised out of Miami and we leave our car at a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale. We Uber from FLL to POM and then back again. Rates as stated, $35 - $42.

We are also Uber users for this kind of transfer. The cost of Uber X (a regular car) should be less than 40! Hard to beat that price with any private transfer service. Uber is excellent in South Florida and you should not have to wait more then 5 min after summoning a car via their app.

In January I used Uber and it was $40 from FLL to our hotel right outside of the Miami airport. Download the app and do a mock booking, it will tell you the cost before you actually request a ride. Prices can vary depending on demand
