Juvesgirl Posted January 12, 2018 #2252 Share Posted January 12, 2018 Andy Stuart also said Elvis Duran listeners who book a new cruise get $100 onboard credit, so make sure you mention it with new bookings! roxette Posted January 13, 2018 #2253 Share Posted January 13, 2018 I am booked on the Panama Canal cruise this May, and I also just booked the LA - NYC Panama Canal, November 2019. So I hope I like this ship. I really like the pool deck layout compared to Getaway and Breakaway. Any news about Bayamo/Pincho Tapas Bar on the Bliss? I am also booked on the Bliss for the 21 day with 15 other solos!!! Food republic is one I am looking forward too. The Addition of Los Lobos replacing Moderno gives us Mexican fare. I thing the Guac at Los Lobos that I had on the Dawn was one of my favorite treats. Steph

AndyT3 Posted January 13, 2018 #2257 Share Posted January 13, 2018 I know I'm a little late to the party (we just booked a 2019 cruise yesterday) but I was actually pretty excited to hear that there would be a full blown Starbucks on this ship. Not like the very limited menu Starbucks on some RC ships.

atanac Posted January 14, 2018 #2260 Share Posted January 14, 2018 NCL is still playing hide n seek with Bliss' repositioning on the west coast in 2019. For example: April 28, 2019 Bliss arrives back in Los Angeles following a cruise to the Mexican Riviera the next date shown is: May 5, 2019 arriving in Seattle to start the 2019 Alaskan season. There is a seven night gap in the schedule for the cruise from LAX to SEA Then at the close of the Alaskan season we find: September 29, 2019 Bliss returns to Seattle from the final cruise to Alaska for the 2019 season On October 6, 2019 Bliss is shown departing Los Angeles for the Mexican Riviera Once again there is a seven night gap from SEA to LAX. There has to be two repositioning cruise on the west coast in 2019 but no one at NCL has a clue...and I even spoke to supervisors. They were able to confirm there are no charters so what's the deal? Any guesses out there???

If the tides don’t work for getting in and out of Vancouver, the ship may sail without passengers. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Have a look at the September 30, 2018 repositioning cruise that calls at both Vancouver & Victoria before heading south to Los Angeles. For the record there is another eight night gap in the schedule on the west coast for 2018: Bliss departs LAX on May 25, 2018 and the next date shown in the ship's schedule is a departure from Seattle to Alaska on June 2nd. Again...there must be something in the pipeline for those eight nights.

WanderlustJourney Posted January 14, 2018 #2266 Share Posted January 14, 2018 I know with travel trade cruises we know about a year out, just depends if the company feels it's a good ROI for agents to experience the ship, with all the hype of her being new, this year they are doing quite a few sailings for TA's, etc. However, I know that there has been a lot of talk whether or not the ship could sail out of Vancouver due to tides and her height, they might be waiting on how she does this year out of Vancouver? She has to depart at a pretty early hour (1:30am ish) in the morning to make it under the Lions Gate Bridge at the very lowest tide this Fall. How does NCL determine which TA's can go? And do you get balcony rooms? Do you go to meetings?TIA!! However for those flying in, it is on their dime. We usually do have a ship tour to see the various stateroom categories, then participate in a "seminar at sea" with any updates from NCL passed onto us. We try the different restaurants and have free time to enjoy the ship. The last one I was on, I was lucky enough to get a balcony, crossing my fingers on this one too lol! It is based on how much NCL we typically sell, our relationship with our local NCL business development manager and if we are a Norwegian Cruise Specialist (through agent training from NCL). It is invite only :)
