She will dock at one of the Old San Juan piers, right in the city.

Clarea Posted April 16, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 16, 2017 Does Adventure of the Seas dock at the other pier location? (Pan Am, I believe.) Yes, when RC ships (currently Adventure and Jewel) are doing initial embarkation / final disembarkation, they use the Pan Am pier.
King of Cruising Posted April 16, 2017 #7 Share Posted April 16, 2017 I believe the ships only dock at Pan Am for cruises that originate in San Juan.
Ashland Posted April 16, 2017 #8 Share Posted April 16, 2017 I believe the ships only dock at Pan Am for cruises that originate in San Juan. Correct...otherwise RCI day ports at the pier in Old San Juan.
renza Posted April 17, 2017 #9 Share Posted April 17, 2017 I called because I am on harmony in June and the rep put me on hold for a while to check and said it's in pan am. crosby99 Posted April 17, 2017 #11 Share Posted April 17, 2017 Based on what we paid last week should be around $15 in a taxi if you are at PanAm to get to Old Town.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums You've posted this comment before...and many of us have (not surprised) disagreed with what the rep told you. The old town pier has been improved (expanded) and can accommodate this size of ship. Looking forward to what you personally find to be the case when you cruise if you'll post when you return ;)
CozGurl Posted April 18, 2017 #13 Share Posted April 18, 2017 I can't wait to know for sure! BTW, the airport is near the Pan Am pier right?
Clarea Posted April 18, 2017 #14 Share Posted April 18, 2017 I can't wait to know for sure! BTW, the airport is near the Pan Am pier right? There is a General Aviation airport near the Pan Am pier, but it's not the main commercial airport SJU.
CozGurl Posted April 18, 2017 #15 Share Posted April 18, 2017 Ahh. I haven't yet started investigating where to stay when we fly in. Don't know how close the airport, OSJ and the pier are in proximity. Thanks
