The rest went well, the officers made their introductions and I had just enough goody bags since 10 of them were there.

Loving your review...I did this same cruise 2 years ago this week on the Pearl. One of my favorites.

 

If you don't mind, can you tell me what sort of items you put in the goody bags for the Officers? I had never heard of anyone doing this and I think it is a great idea. Thanks!

Sure! I bought a box of See's suckers (they were a mix of vanilla, chocolate, butterscotch, and cafe au'lait) and put three in the bag along with a little 4 piece box of Russell Stover chocolates. It wasn't much but it's a nice gesture to thank them for doing this.

It was a very popular sail away in the aft. There was even a whale on the port side as we got close to the bridge.

Is there a price list for the spa? I am looking for prices on massages and can't find a price list for the Jewel. The hubby and I are sailing on 5/13 and I want to book massages for us but am not sure what the prices might be.

Coffee, it's whats for breakfast.

 

Today is grey and drizzling and the ship has some good swaying going on. I slept in and it looks like most of the ship did as well from how crowded the buffet is. I'm over in the overflow at La Cucina.

 

I think I'll do sushi for lunch before I hit the Latitudes meeting. Today is our cabin crawl at 1:30 and we're seeing five cabins including 2 suites. I'm looking forward to it.

I stopped by Tsar's and got shots of the lunch and dinner menu.

Sushi wss good, very filling and a good value for the price. That's the Surf and Turf on the left and the Spider Roll on the right.
