Oh no! We must have just missed each other, I went down to check out the casino.

I'll be in the DL tomorrow night if you want to drop by [emoji4]

Robyn, did you make reservations for MDR? What time did you go and how long was your wait? Did you have your own table? Thanks, loving your review!

I'm sitting in American Icon right now. We got here at 7:45pm and we were seated right away, no reservations.

Glad to have you following along! [emoji106]

Can't say we weren't warned.[emoji15]🤣

Was it Orient? I thought it was Mullet.

It was definitely Orient because we were on an excursion and there aren't any that go to Mullet Bay [emoji41]

Do you have the drink package?

I don't.... is there something you'd like to know about it? I'm not a huge drinker so the package would be wasted on me. I may have a Corona by the pool, and the rest in the DL at night.

The Headliner tonight is El Gaucho. I've seen his act on other ships and while we have reservations, we are skipping the show.

Time to head to the Diamond Lounge. I know there is a Cosmo calling my name [emoji4]

We had him on our Indy cruise last November. Yeah, I would skip a repeat.

Royal sent me an email reply with the entertainment lineup for our May 28th cruise. Comedic juggler act Wilde & James is the headliner. Anyone ever see their show and, if so, how was it?

We have this exact itinerary in July. Renting the jeep sounds fun. Was it something you planned ahead or is it easy to do off the ship? Do you know if the ship docks in old San Juan? What do you have planned for this port?

We usually rent through Hertz as they are located right at the port in SXM.

As far as I know, we are docking in OSJ tomorrow. We have been to San Juan dozens of times (we've sailed on the Adventure at least a dozen times!) so we've pretty much seen everything.... we do really enjoy walking around OSJ and will probably do that with a stop at Barrachina for a Pina Colada [emoji39]

I have to say that tonight's 70's Dance Party was the best yet [emoji106]I think this is partially due to the fact that the Royal Promenade is so much wider, and just all around bigger, so there is more room for everyone to watch, and to dance.

It always amazes me how people go crazy for dollar store flashing rings, jumping over each other to get one as they fly through the air [emoji15]

Here are a few pics from the party ...

Zoltar also predicts another Oasis Class sailing in your future.

I am reserving judgment still....there definitely a lot of pros to Oasis Class, but there are also cons - maybe not with the ship itself, but for me and my expectations... if that makes any sense?

Having said that, there is no doubt that this is a fantastic ship, and given that it's Zoltar, he's probably right.. [emoji6]

Good morning San Juan! The weather people got it wrong AGAIN! It's a beautiful day here ☀️☀️

We are definitely docked at Old San Juan. If you zoom in, you can probably see the Walgreens and CVS which are a hop and skip from the ship.

My plan is to disembark later this morning and walk around a bit, especially because it's a beautiful sunny day. I'll hit the pool later in the afternoon.

FYI there is someone smoking on a nearby balcony, but not close enough for me to see who and where it is [emoji35] I'm a pretty tolerant person, but not for people who break the rules and put others lives in jeopardy. Where are they throwing their cigarette butts? I'm sure they don't want to leave them in a cup where their cabin attendant could see it, and give them the $fine they deserve!

Ok rant over, going to get a coffee [emoji16]

If you do I'd suggest Oasis over Harmony as it lacks some of the nicer nuances that the older sisters have, even without the slides. On a side note, once you see the female sand artist at the ice show you might only sail on Oasis.

All joking aside I wish there were more water views on the Oasis Class of ships, but it doesn't stop us from sailing on them. :)

Yes, I agree totally about the water views. Although we did have a table next to the window in the MDR last night... Now you have me very curious about the sand artist at the ice show on Oasis?!??

About last night.....

A few are asking for my thoughts on the MDR.

We have My Time Dining and went down to American Icon on deck 4 at about 7:45pm, we were seated right away at a table next to the window.

The service was phenomenal, probably more attentive and efficient than I've seen on a my last few cruises on any ship.

The food was good. We ordered a few appetizers, the shrimp cocktail, mushroom soup, and an escargot not for the icky snails, but to dip the sour dough roll into the garlic butter [emoji6]

Our main was the beef duo and the thin strip of meat was good, but the thicker strip was pretty fatty and we couldn't eat it.

Dessert was the chocolate cake which is the best cake I've had in any MDR anywhere. I would definitely order it again [emoji106]

Lobster night is tonight, but we have reservations at Giovanni's so unless we change that, thus will be the first cruise I've missed the lobster.....! We shall see.....[emoji6]

When we ate at Coastal Kitchen on lobster night, they offered to get us some tails from the MDR. Perhaps they can do the same at Giovanni's?

Let see... Oasis, sand artist, and CATS or Allure, no sand artist and Mamma Mia. This is a tough one. For me sailing from Ft. Lauderdale gives the nudge to Allure.

We have been to so many of the same places but just not at the same time. <SIGH>

And I can confirm.... You are in San Juan. :)

I wish they would get rid of that thing.

Why do you want to get rid of Zoltar??? He is such an annoying addition to the Boardwalk [emoji849]
