Clarea Posted May 11, 2017 #51 Share Posted May 11, 2017 I just find it cheaper to just walk into the casino as soon as it opens...Go to the cashier and give them my money then walk out[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Less smoke on your clothes that way too.:D
Havingfun2010 Posted May 11, 2017 #52 Share Posted May 11, 2017 Casino's are designed to make a profit for the organization. But the profit is a fine line. You must create excitement long enough to make it so that a person keeps trying. If they lose too much in a short period of time, they won't come back, but if you keep them hanging on a thread in hopes of hitting the big one, than they deposit more money. If I break even I'm happy. If I loose less than a $100 per week, I'm happy. But I have a budget and once I lose that budget, I'm finished.
mdj101 Posted May 11, 2017 #53 Share Posted May 11, 2017 I think RCI still has non-smoking on formal nights, something like 5pm to midnight -- not sure of the exact time. Other than that, the casino can be rather smoky, even in the non-smoking areas. As for winning, I've lost much more than I've won, but I have come out ahead on about 5 of my 30+ cruises, mostly playing slots. Casino is non-smoking on cruises from the UK. sellwingri Posted May 11, 2017 #54 Share Posted May 11, 2017 Casinos on oasis class are 24x7 except when in port. Kyle Sent from my iPhone using Forums Does this include table games? Cruising on Oasis for the first time later this year.
srlafleur Posted May 11, 2017 #55 Share Posted May 11, 2017 I play slots and sometimes win enough to keep me playing for a while and I feel lucky with that. I have a friend, who is luckier than I, who has basically won the cost of her cruise a couple of times...and she rarely plays and bets very little! Thetrail Posted May 12, 2017 #57 Share Posted May 12, 2017 The casino is only open in the afternoons and evening, while at sea. Cash is what you need. There is BJ, Poker, Roulette, Craps. And, of course, slots galore. Hubby won a little at BJ once....and a bit on Craps...but the slots are tight...really tight...and our last cruise, the BJ dealer NEVER, EVER lost.... The casino opens at 9:00am on sea days, not noon.....K.O.
MrsKC08 Posted May 12, 2017 #58 Share Posted May 12, 2017 In November on our Harmony cruise, I put the $5 casino credit from Royal Caribbean in a slot machine and won $200. I didn't spend any of my money and won. I cashed out, went to the cashier and got my $200 and left. I didn't return the rest of the week.

drhall Posted May 12, 2017 #61 Share Posted May 12, 2017 My husband played the quarter slots and turned $.25 into $65... TWICE. On the same cruise! I lost my $20, but he made $120. What's his is mine :) Other that that, no luck or differences I've ever experienced.
Foosguy Posted May 12, 2017 #62 Share Posted May 12, 2017 Does this include table games? Cruising on Oasis for the first time later this year. No, just slots. Tables close late every night, based on demand. Kyle Sent from my iPhone using Forums
