Budget Queen Posted May 10, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2017 Early July. Is this for this, or next year? If this year, you are way beyond worrying about vendors. You'd need to get on the phone- now, and call every vendor and see if there is any space left the day you need it and - book right them. I'm a long time customer of Southeast Aviation who is my preference, but there are multiple excellent long term operators out of Ketchikan. galeforce9 Posted May 11, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 11, 2017 Our ship is offering an anan trip in early September which I understand is out of season. What do you think our chances could be? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

TheCalicoCat Posted May 11, 2017 #7 Share Posted May 11, 2017 When does this tour start? Can anyone recommend a vender from Ketchikan? I booked my flight in October 2016 for my July 2017 cruise (After being penciled in in January 2016). I'm using Family Air, this will be my first flight with them. Sent from my iPhone using Forums Typical cruise ship scam. They offer an expensive exclusion to see something that they must know will not be there. One more reason to not take cruise ship excursions. I am surprised that they do not off penguin excursions on their Alaska cruises. DON

DON Yup - a bunch of us took the tour to see the Bald Eagle Hospital (or something like that) and the hatchery. Trouble was, there were no sick Bald Eagles being nursed back to health and no fish at the hatchery. It wasn't even open. After that, ship excursions were looked at more closely.
