How do you know how many ships will be in your port?

I keep seeing people say things like "there will be 3 ships in Roatan the day we're in port" or similar. How do they know this? I feel like I'm lacking vital cruiser knowledge.

Thanks!

Just be aware that cruisetimetables and cruisett (the other site commonly used to check ports) are not always accurate.

So, while I use them as a guide, I know the information may not be complete. This has become glaringly obvious to me when the cruise I am on isn't listed on the sites. :p

I do have a question about Lisbon. It says there are 3 different docks. How do I know which dock my ship will use?
NCL doesn't call at Lisbon very often, so you'll have to search the port authority website. The Port of Lisbon does have an English website, so you can try entering your dates there. But if you're talking about next April's TA on the Spirit, it may be too early to get any information about that.
