Guy2073 Posted May 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2017 I am going on my first cruise at the end of the month on the pride, i was told i could order a case of water onboard for my room. Is this true and how do i do that, and how much is it.
brepri_h Posted May 15, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Yes! I do it every cruise! Go to Carnival's website and login. From the main menu click manage > in-room gifts & shopping > in state room beverages. Water comes up first. You purchase and decided which day you'd like it delivered! sailor05 Posted May 15, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Under "Manage your booking" on the website you go to "The Fun Shops" tab and then "in stateroom beverages." It's $4.50 for a 12 pack of 16.9 oz bottles.
OCruisers Posted May 15, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Keep in mind the tap water on the ship is perfectly safe to drink! Enjoy your 1st cruise! :D
Rare sparks1093 Posted May 15, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Keep in mind the tap water on the ship is perfectly safe to drink!Enjoy your 1st cruise! :D Yes it is, but I haven't figured out how to get the sink ashore with me:D (and having the bottles is more convenient for us to carry on excursions). teknoge3k Posted May 15, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 15, 2017 We always have a case or 2 waiting in our room when we embark. I'd much rather have bottled water than drink from the tap, for the sole reason of convenience.
Guy2073 Posted May 15, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Thank you all, my son and i use the sugar free kool aid squirts. It is alot easier to use the bottles when travelling
riclop Posted May 16, 2017 #8 Share Posted May 16, 2017 Yes they started at 2.99 and it has gone higher.
OCruisers Posted May 16, 2017 #9 Share Posted May 16, 2017 Certainly bottled water is more convenient to carry around with you. Refilling them with tap water is always as option. ;)

Refilling them with tap water is always as option. ;) But if refilling on the buffet PLEASE use a clean cup. We buy a bottle or two in our first port, then refill the bottle. GradUT Posted May 16, 2017 #11 Share Posted May 16, 2017 You can always bring a refillable bottle from home with you when you board. Then you can fill it with water before you go ashore in each port. It's as easy as carrying a purchased bottle of water and it's much cheaper because it's free! But the best reason for doing this is environmental--fewer plastic bottles in landfills. Rare sparks1093 Posted May 16, 2017 #12 Share Posted May 16, 2017 Yes they started at 2.99 and it has gone higher. I know, right, it's up to a whole $4.50 now. I think I'll jump to NCL where I can pay $50 for purified tap water:D.

But the best reason for doing this is environmental--fewer plastic bottles in landfills. Then you can use a clean cup or glass to refill your refillable water bottle. I have seen too many cruisers just put their used bottle up and over the dispenser spout, contaminating it for subsequent users. Contamination is avoided by following the posted directions to use a new cup whenever using a coffee, water or juice dispenser.
