Adventure of the Seas B2B 6/3 Live(ish) Review

Recommended Posts

The evening of Day 5 we went to the Mystery Dinner, "Ba Da Bing, Ana Da Boom". It was held in Giovanni's.

It came with a Prix Fixe menu, and bottomless wine...and when I say bottomless wine, I mean from the time wine first hit my glass until I stood up from the table at the end of the three hours, my glass was never empty. I definitely got my money's worth in the wine alone.

My appetizer, the carpaccio.

My entree, gnocchi. It was quite good.

My husband had the filet, and it was delicious.

Dessert, tiramisu.

Overall, the dinner was well worth the money. We had a great time, the food was delicious, the wine flowed non stop, and the show was fun. The Singers and Dancers did a great job. Highly recommend!

The giovannis bada bing looked like fun! Did you book in advance of cruise or onboard? What was the charge?

I'm just off the Adventure. My wife drinks prosseco and the extra charge was just $1.00. ($13.00 TTL).

Thanks. This question was raised on another thread for the AOS and someone said they were never charged any extra! RIC are so inconsistent. Ah well, I'll expect to pay an extra $1 per drink and be happy if I've not charged!

Day 6: Barbados

Unfortunately, Barbados was a bust. We were booked to do the Submarine and Island Tour excursion. They cancelled the submarine portion, and waited until after the land tour to inform us. The entire bus was extremely unhappy, as the submarine was the reason for booking.

While the land tour had a fair amount of information, we only had one stop. It was extremely disappointing. I guess it means another cruise that includes Barbados is in the cards.

Day 7: At Sea

Our only Sea Day was one met with anticipation. We were taking the All Access Tour Behind the Scenes. We have been looking forward to the tour since we booked, and it did not disappoint. We visited the MDR, the Galley, Environmental Waste Management, Bridge, and Engine Control Room. I took a fair number of pictures, and will post them below. If you have specific questions about the things we saw, I'll do my best to answer them.
