Grandeur - any shows we need to make reservations for?

Recommended Posts

First time on RCL. Been on Carnival Pride several times. Love leaving out of Baltimore. I have heard that you need to make reservations for shows but my booking doesn't show any shows. Going July 22nd to Bermuda. Thanks

It will be the same type of shows you saw in the main stage on the Pride. No separate comedy club. There will probably be a couple of production shows by the onboard cast and one or two single show outside acts. Movies will be on the pool deck in the evening.

You can bring diet coke on board; jury is out on having the porters carry it or if you must lug it yourself. If you board before the rooms are up you can check your soda and any other carryons in the aft lounge on deck 7.

Haven't been on that itinerary but the second night will probably be formal.

Actually, you can check your bags in the South Pacific Lounge on DECK 6 aft... As for formal night, yes, there is one on Night 2..

The ships you need to think about reservations are the bigger ones. Voyager class and above. The Freedom and Voyager class has the ice show, which requires reservation, but I'm not sure if you can do that online, or if it needs to be done onboard. Quantum class and Oasis Class ships have featured shows that reservations are taken, but not 100% necessary. Reservation only allows you to to get into the venue more than 15 minutes early to get a seat for yourself. After that, they will open the doors to anyone.

Only Oasis and Quantum class ships have pre-cruise reservations for entertainment.
