MissMapp Posted June 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2017 I could be wrong or misinformed, but isn't lunch served in the MDR on embarkation day for concierge class? If so, what are the hours? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
kenevenpar Posted June 21, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2017 Yes it is. I think it was 12 to 1:30, but that is off the top of my head

flyingv4me Posted June 21, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 21, 2017 For embarkation, Concierge may eat in the MDR and Suite guests in Lunimae. Everyone else may dine in Oceanview, the pool grill, or Aquaspa Cafe. There's also pastries at Cafe al Bacio.

caribill Posted June 22, 2017 #8 Share Posted June 22, 2017 Can other classes a so eat in the main dining room for embarkation lunch? No.... The exception is that passengers in other classes on a B2B can eat lunch in the dining room on the turnaround day between the segments.
Rare cruisestitch Posted June 22, 2017 #9 Share Posted June 22, 2017 There is no children's menu and the menu offered has, as I recall, only three entree choices, a fish, a lamb dish, and I think the third was a pasta. No one in our group found it appealing and ended up going to the buffet anyway.
fleckle Posted June 22, 2017 #10 Share Posted June 22, 2017 Can other classes a so eat in the main dining room for embarkation lunch? Yes, back-to-back cruisers irrespective of stateroom category, and we have met some other people with special circumstances who were eating there also, even though they were neither B2B nor concierge class.Actually, Celebrity was already offering the lunch in the MDR for back-to-back passengers before they added concierge class. There is no children's menu and the menu offered has, as I recall, only three entree choices, a fish, a lamb dish, and I think the third was a pasta. No one in our group found it appealing and ended up going to the buffet anyway. We do the same.Sometimes there are only 2 dessert choices, and other times only one; the choice being take it or leave it, which is when we usually head up to the buffet for dessert instead. But it a good idea to check the menu that is posted outside the MDR before deciding. If you see something you like on the menu, you may want to have that first, before heading to the buffet, or the spa cafe, or the pool grill. Rysyonok Posted June 22, 2017 #11 Share Posted June 22, 2017 Is Aqua allowed in MDR for embarkation lunch or is Blu open during that time ? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-J320A using Forums mobile app
Rare cruisestitch Posted June 22, 2017 #12 Share Posted June 22, 2017 Neither -- on embarkation day the MDR is closed for lunch (see the exceptions above) and so is BLU.

When we were on in April we had a choice of Short Beef Ribs, Pasta or a fish .. we all had the short ribs and they were very good.

Just a bit ironic that Aqua is a step above Concierge yet misses out on this. Ah well, no biggie.
