Is there an English Pub on Jewel Of The Seas?

I will be sailing next September 18th - 27th on The Jewel Of The Seas. I am not much of a drinker these days but I do like the atmosphere of a classic English Pub. I see many of RCCL's ships have one. Does the Jewel?

No pub. Schooner Bar is an excellent place to enjoy a drink or two or just hang out.

The Jewel still has the sports bar instead of an English Pub.

No, there is a much under-utilised sports bar, between the casino and the theatre.

Great, thanks for the replies. I sure don't mind hanging out in a sports bar and I did like The Schooner when I was on Navigator.

Thank you, I am very excuted as this will be my girlfriend's first cruise and Greece and Italy are bucket list estinations for her. I like everything I am seeing about the Jewel. The relatice lack of late night dining options do not matter much to us as we are both early to bed on holidays. Also, as a Type 2 diabetic, I try not to eat late at night.

Late night dining: the Solarium cafe is open for snacks 9pm - 1am at night.

In my opinion the sports bar wasn't that nice. Schooner bar or safari club probably better options.

I agree. I'm not a fan, at all, of the sports bar on Jewel. The Schooner Bar or Safari Club are definitely better options.

Every time I walked by the Sports bar there was no body there. I guess it's saving grace is the popcorn popper.

We actually like the sports bar in jots partly because it was the only bar that had a full menu of available cocktails. It was nice to find a few things to try as we are not big drinkers.

We did not actually have the invite to the m&m and happened to be in the sports bar 10 minutes before it started right where we were sitting, so that worked out as well.

 

We did not like the schooner bar, as The pianist they had was pretty bad.

The Schooner Bar is a nice place to hang out even when there is no one playing. :) (especially when no one is playing? ;) )
