WNCtourist Posted July 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2017 We're trying to figure out if we should book now or wait until our upcoming cruise to see what promos are available for a T/A. I know many times there aren't many promos offered for repositioning cruises. If you know what's is currently being offered, I would appreciate knowing! Thanks! 4774Papa Posted July 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2017 I know Celebrity usually doesn't require pricing to be bundled with drink packages, etc. for TA cruises. I like that, we have one on Eclipse with a hump balcony for 15 day cruise at $1199 pp with no promos. This is one reason that I still like TA cruises. I like booking early and getting the pick of our cabin.

lienf Posted July 30, 2017 #8 Share Posted July 30, 2017 I am glad you got the free gratuities.I don't think it comes with Transatlantic cruises. At least for the last 2 years we received $100 OBC and paid gratuities when booking a future TA while on a TA. Have that on the 3 TA's we have booked. Have never checked if those TA perks are offered when on a non TA cruise.

CEOofVacation Posted July 31, 2017 #10 Share Posted July 31, 2017 We were also handed a flyer that listed the TAs that qualified for free gratuities and the $100.
Wine-O Posted July 31, 2017 #11 Share Posted July 31, 2017 I am glad you got the free gratuities.I don't think it comes with Transatlantic cruises. We were on the Reflection 2016 TA, and they offered free grats + OBC to book a future TA while on a TA. There was a small window involved.
jelayne Posted July 31, 2017 #12 Share Posted July 31, 2017 The only time we have seen any worthwhile promo's for booking a TA was while we were on a TA. Each time it was prepaid grats and some small OBC ($100 range).
