jswdlw Posted September 28, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2017 NCL is a Pepsi ship and I prefer Coke. Last time I sailed we were allowed to bring on bottled water and sodas. Are we still allowed to do this? I have gotta have my diet coke in the morning.. :)

garycarla Posted September 28, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2017 No waters. No sodas. No booze. Wine at a $15 per bottle fee. (really should not be called a corkage fee) (interesting that we have not seen this question in a few weeks - LOL!)

Swells1 Posted September 28, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 28, 2017 Just between you and me, I've heard that some ports have Coke machines past the security check-in. But you didn't hear it from me.
Two Wheels Only Posted September 28, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 28, 2017 Depending on port/terminal, you might find a Coke machine inside/after security check-in. If you buy Coke from a machine, you can drink it on-board.

Had to have some fun here. LOL!

But surely the scanners as you actually board the boat will pick them up and they will be confiscated.
garycarla Posted September 28, 2017 #11 Share Posted September 28, 2017 But surely the scanners as you actually board the boat will pick them up and they will be confiscated. In many BOARDING ports, you scan in the terminal, and then board the ship. As you walk through the terminal, you may pass a machine or two. At most ports along the way, they scan as you board, usually right on the ship. Different scenario.
Rare All-ready2cruise Posted September 28, 2017 #12 Share Posted September 28, 2017 But surely the scanners as you actually board the boat will pick them up and they will be confiscated. But as swells says inside/after security check-in, the cokes won't be confiscated b/c you're already passed the scanners. coke, being one of the worst drinks around... not my thing anyway but hey... those that need it... need it. Just sayin'... :o
