khewston Posted October 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2017 What are the differences between Nellie's and Barefoot beach? We are booked in a suite and have been told we use Barefoot beach.
leaveitallbehind Posted October 15, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 15, 2017 (edited) Barefoot Beach is reserved for suite guests only and has a more upscale lunch buffet. Also less crowded as a result. cb at sea Posted October 15, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 15, 2017 That's right...there's really do difference in beach or scenery....just the number of folks allowed to use said beach. You're not that far apart!

khewston Posted October 16, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted October 16, 2017 Barefoot Beach also provides beach towels and complimentary floating beach mats. That sounds like a good benefit. I also heard the lunch they serve is better.

Rare Lionesss Posted October 16, 2017 #7 Share Posted October 16, 2017 Also you can use the snorkel gear for free. However, since the waters are over fished as a source of food supply for the locals, you will see some small fishies and occasional eel, and not much else. If you swim out to the rope barrier on Barefoot beach you will see underwater a prop plan sunken to form a reef. The DH swam under the rope to get a better view...............then got whistled back by the life guard. Enjoy Barefoot beach, we do. Safe travels. Rare mac_tlc Posted October 16, 2017 #8 Share Posted October 16, 2017 We will have our first crack at Barefoot Beach in January, but will probably only go there for lunch. We rented a beach bed, which we have done before and really enjoyed it. They are only on Adrenaline Beach. Only the two of us and the cabanas are too much money for 2. We had one at Nellie's in August, but we had 6 people. Water and floating mats included with the beach bed, but I am looking forward to the improved buffet on Barefoot Beach. mac_tlc
