We have not been on the Escape but we did Oasis in 2010 and it was terrific.

 

We loved the Central Park area, the Aqua Theatre and the comedy show venue. In particular, I loved all of the modern art on the ship - I climbed a lot of stairs to see it every bit of it.

The answer depends mainly on your and since we don't know you it's not easy to make a recommendation.

 

My recommendation is to read cruise reviews for each ship and also to visit the web sites to look at what is offered on each ship and to also read other posts on the NCL and RCI Boards.

You should reviews of both ships and make your own decision as we do not know what you like as far as ships go.

Also -- ask questions on both boards about the ships -- you will even get different answers on each ship -- even different than the reviews you read.

Oasis hands down. Escape is great but it is really not that much different from all other ships but the Oasis class really distinguishes itself in ship design.

I've been on both and without any hesitation, I say Oasis. Better ship, better entertainment, better pools, more spacious, less crowded. The list goes on and on.

 

And believe it or not, I loved my Escape cruise. Oasis is just on another level that can't be matched by any other line.
