Changing Dinner Reservations

I booked a SP dinner reservation for 4 because I thought a friend would be joining us. Now he's not. What is the best way to change the number of people back to the 3 that we need?

You can call, I’d just change after you board, it will be the same size table.

Yes, wait until you get onboard and do it then.

 

We often end up with a reservation for 4, despite being only 3 of us as they sometimes don’t make reservations for 3 available. We just adjust it onboard.

There will be a restaurant reservations desk on the ship, staffed throughout the day. You can just do it with them.

There should be a reastaurant reservations desk near Guest Services.

Anyone know how it works if you have a drastic reservation change...for example 4 or 6 people, down to 2? Will I lose the reservation entirely because they usually seat 2 people at 2-person tables?

You should fix it on embarkation day, as soon as you as you embark. As you know, additional inventory is opened for on board bookings.
