Anyone Utilize The Princess Shoe Polishing Service?

Just curious if this is done in a timely manner, I understand it is complimentary service for Elite but what is the ordinary charge?

 

Is it cleaning and buffing or do they use actual use shoe polish.

Have it done sometimes. It is the steward who did the shoe polishing. Didn’t know how he did it. Not shiny but clean.

I don’t think I could ask the steward to polish my shoes, it’s not like he’s got nothing else’s to do.

We sent a pair down once, then we found out our steward had to do it. Have never sent any down after that. They are busy enough.

I once asked Stewart about it, he showed me what they gave him to do it with, a little foam thing with some sort of silicon based shining liquid in it, not a proper shoe polish wax like I use with brushes etc.

And the only one he could find turned out to be dried up it was so old.

I told him not to waste his time on it.

Yes they have better things to do with their time anyhoo. And not making towel animals either.

but yeah, back in the day when I had to travel for work and wore suits - a shoeshine at the airport was a given
