First port of call is Grand Carmen. It is a tender port and they are handing out Tender Tickets at Martini Bar unless in a Suite. For suite passenger the Michaels Club Concierge escorts guests to the Tender.

Hello Jim & Iain

Just discovered this site today while sitting in Café al Bacio waiting for the tenders.

We're also are doing the 30 day b2b along with you. Following the cruise we'll spend 30 days in Buenos Aires. Then we're during a 17 day Antarctica expedition cruise on Ponant.

Maybe our paths will cross during this cruise.

We had a fun day in Grand Cayman. The tender service was very efficient.

We had to berth at a different location due to large swells. Celebrity put on free shuttles for a 15 minute ride into town

We just walked around and had a delicious sea food lunch. Timing was perfect as a torrential downpour hit just as we sat down and blew over by the time we finished.

Hi Tom & Jessica -

Please come up and tap me on the shoulder or just come up and introduce yourself if you see me. I usually hit Al Bacio a couple a couple times a day.

How exciting to hear you will be on the B2B as well. While waiting for our tender in Michael's club another B2B passenger that we sailed with in April gave me a shout out.

We will also be spending some time in Buenos Aires after the cruise. We will be staying until January 8. Would love to hear more about Antarctica. It is one of those places that is on my bucket list.

Hope you are enjoying the ship as much as we are. I am favorably impressed with the condition of the ship and friendliness of the crew.

Jim, Thanks for the trip report. My sister and I could only do the following cruise, so at least I can have a glimpse of this cruise. ! The ship looks wonderful and festive !

Connie ( and Tammy)

Hi Connie and Tammy

I am sure you will enjoy the cruise.

Really impressed with Infinity. They are really working hard to make her festive for the holiday season. I'll be posting some pictures of the ship. This is the first time I have seen the outdoor theater and lounge.

Thanks for joining in this is turning into a fantastic cruise. We were talking to Oscar, restaurant manger in Luminea last night and he told us that they are already starting to staff for the Edge. He has already submitted 3 of his staff that will be going to Edge.

Louis , the assistant waiter, will be one of them. He is from Dominican Republic and has an infectious smile and laugh and one of the best personalities I have ever seen on Celebrity.

We stopped by Martini bar last evening after dinner. The bartenders were in rare form and putting on a continuous show.

Ready for a drink - Mixed - Not Stirred - Watch your head

Just in case the imbedding doesn't work

Following your review. Love seeing Christmas Trees in the Caribbean.

Welcome

Mary Lou

I have to agree with you. The Christmas trees look so festive and reminds us that it is Christmas Time. I noticed in Grand Cayman they were starting to put up decorations along the highway and town.

Tis the season to be jolly...

Subscribed, very interested in crossing the Strait of Magellan.

It should be interesting. We were just talking about the Strait pool side wondering what the weather and seas will be like.

Rest assured I will blog about it. I’ll also post a YouTube if anything interesting.
