Domino 1717 Posted December 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2017 I am going to Princess Cays with Carnival. MY sisters are avid shelters. Are there shells are Princess Cays? If there are shells can they bring them on board if they are clean? Thanks

Thanks While I can't speak to Princess Cays specifically, typically, shells and other natural substances are not allowed onboard or back into the US. Only processed (commercially cleaned) things. cb at sea Posted December 4, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 4, 2017 You aren't going to find much worth bringing back, but folks will do it....

If there are shells can they bring them on board if they are clean? Thanks Zero. Nada. Please don't do this! It's the hitchhiking bugs/microbes you don't see that can decimate an agricultural economy. And if you disagree, please leave states like California and Hawaii off your itineraries (a few countries as well, e.g., Australia, New Zealand, Chile, et al.) Rare Itchy&Scratchy Posted December 4, 2017 #8 Share Posted December 4, 2017 and make sure to wear water shoes while on Princess Cays. The island has horribly sharp rocks under the sand and one can get badly hurt.
