ldubs Posted September 26, 2020 #27 Share Posted September 26, 2020 I've not done it for door decorations, but encourage all of you creative folks to do so. It is fun, and I can count my cabin is X doors down. Haha.

jocap Posted September 26, 2020 #30 Share Posted September 26, 2020 We bought a fridge magnet of the ship we were on; remembered the conversations on cc about magnets and walls, so used it to keep tickets/special offers in view. That magnet has been on several cruises now, which can be embarrassing on different lines, but I doubt the steward is interested.

I think this is a great idea to help identify your cabin door in a long hallway, but how often do magnets get stolen? Also, do many people decorate their doors, or would we look silly? After having magnets and other door decorations stolen or damaged (birthday decorations ripped to pieces) we gave up.
Underwatr Posted September 27, 2020 #32 Share Posted September 27, 2020 I'd consider a higher-class cruise line.
