Bus Crash In Mexico Involving Equinox Passengers

This is heartbreaking. So very sorry for those affected!

 

Family next door to us is on the Celebrity ship, and just posted to Facebook that they almost went on the excursion with the bus crash, but changed their mind. Neighbor said seven people died. We are very relieved they are OK, but they are very saddened by the tragedy.

I too went to bed last night with you in my thoughts, and woke up hoping for different news. My condolences to you and your family.

My brother and his wife were on the excursion. I’ve called the ship and they tell me that he is not on the ship at this time and that he was impacted by this incident, but they have no information about his condition. I’ve been in contact with Royal shore side, but they have no information to share yet. I’ve sent text and phone messages to them directly but have not heard from them yet. Please pray.

Just got home from walking the dogs along the waterfront in Cozumel, Mexico and saw a Celebrity ship just pulling out. Thought it may have been the Equinox and my heart went out to all those who lost someone.

 

Once I got home, logged in and checked the tracker; it was actually the Celebrity Reflection leaving port. I think everyone on all Celebrity ships right now are praying for those affected by this horrible tragedy.
