Do you get perks with guarantee cabins?

Never taken a guarantee cabin but wondering if its ever worth it

Yes. Just had guarantee balcony stateroom on the Silhouette at new year's. We had the drinks pkg included, plus $300 shipboard credit, plus $$ from our travel agent.

It all depends. Transatlantic and interior staterooms, generally no, just as with other reservations.

Celebrity plays the "Sale" game often and the prices of the cruise vary according to the promotion. The perks that come with the Guarantee are generally the same as the class you are booking a Guarantee for. Often you get 2 perks with OV and above but sometimes they have a sale and the price drops but either one or both perks go away.

 

I also noticed recently on an Airline Site (under cruises) that they were offering a low price with no perks but offering a prices for 1, 2, 3 or 4 perks. It is always a good idea to calculate out what each perk is worth and determine the best deal for you.

You can read the terms and conditions of the current promotion. This promotions change frequently.

Also the rules are different for each country.

If the promotion is under an 'exciting deal' or similar, then no perks ....but if if it included under a big, better, best or 123 go promotion, we've had all perks included in the past. Last time we booked a guarantee cabin, earlier this year, we got the beverage package, $500 obc ($300 through the cruiseline and $200 from our TA) and free gratuities. We booked an OV (you will not get a captain's club one category upgrade with a guarantee) and were upgraded to a C1 cabin. That was a sweet deal. Friends we went with were in a 2C veranda and paid a lot more than we did, plus they got less perks to boot. There is no way to say which sailings will offer the perks and which ones won't unless you call ... unless it is listed under those exciting deals. I was told point blank that those never come with the free perks ... guarantee cabin or otherwise. Now, could there be an instance where there could also be an exception to that rule?? Doubtful but never say never.

I've never booked a guarantee but was always under the impression that they did not come with perks. Glad to hear they do.
