wallyj Posted January 28, 2018 #26 Share Posted January 28, 2018 It depends on more then last name alone. Two people of the same last name might not be married and if they have different addresses would each get their own. It does not appear on the cruise personalizer. I believe in the brochure you can get a copy from captain circle host/hostess states the loyalty is per Household, meaning based on address in passengers profile. So 2 people booked in same cabin with different addresses will each get individual OBC based on cruise credits, no matter relationship status. Also have noticed the amount has been appearing in cruise personalizer a few days before cruise, not in payments credits tab but bottom of your travel summary, check for it next time

Punkydog Posted January 28, 2018 #30 Share Posted January 28, 2018 Yes Srpilo I booked a 14 day cruise on Regal rather than B2B 7 days and I’m elite. Are you saying I’ll receive 2 bar set ups? That would be a pleasant surprise. If yes, are you basing on past experience or is it documented in loyalty program? Thank You! Louise

argenta01 Posted January 29, 2018 #32 Share Posted January 29, 2018 Is the first tier Loyalty OBC $25 per person or per cabin? When I called Princess they said per person. CC says per cabin. My account was credited $25 today (6 days before cruise). Before I call Princess to ask what happened to the second $25, I thought I’d get the real answer here. Does it actually say "loyalty credit" in your personalizer? I am up to $75 in loyalty credit and never once has it shown up in the personalizer before the cruise. A card is left in the room letting you know of the credit.
Iowa Traveler Posted January 29, 2018 #33 Share Posted January 29, 2018 We cruised four in a row last fall. On the first two we got the $50 loyalty credit, but moved on to the $75 loyalty credit for the final two. They are refundable, too. Still waiting for the check and it's been about 7 weeks. We've checked twice and they are doing a manual audit to figure it out. ??? Thanks, StLouisCruisers!! (hope your refund arrives soon)

I think the person in #28 is confused with a different type of OBC.

RRFan Posted January 29, 2018 #37 Share Posted January 29, 2018 Thank you Iowa Traveler! The check arrived today! ;) 7 weeks! For future reference, just go to the casino and charge whatever amount will be left over on your bill (the amount you waited for a refund on). Then cash it out the last day and take the cash with you rather than letting Princess use it for 6 weeks before mailing you a check!;)

I think the person in #28 is confused with a different type of OBC. The loyalty OBC appears or will in your travel summary of your cruise personalizer a few days before sailing maybe 5 or 6. So unless you are sailing in a few days it has not posted yet. Please check when you are about 4 days from sailing date and let me know. You must click on boarding pass and travel summary for it to appear/display, scroll down to bottom of travel summary and you should see OBC if you have at least 21 cruise credits and traveling with someone with a different last name or address in thier profile. wallyj Posted February 1, 2018 #45 Share Posted February 1, 2018 Yes, please look in your cruise personalizer . It is in your Travel Summary not under payments and credit tab. This is listed with your boarding pass. Click on the link and you might need to click on print travel summary for it to display. Scroll down to the bottom and you will see I think under special services OBC if you are entitled to Loyalty OBC based on your cruise credits It does not say Loyalty, also it does not appear or post till a few days before sailing! This makes sense since no need to post as many book cruises far in advance and may cancel or take other cruises before so system probably in place to post just before sailing. For those who say have not seen have you ever checked your travel summary just before sailing? Many cruisers do not even know it is there, Agian this OBC is per Household per brochure, if you have access to another address to put in your profile so it is different from your cabin mate no matter your relationship you should both get your Loyalty OBC, you can verify this with circle host. I am guessing most people do not look at travel summary just before sailing and only print boarding pass and sometimes print early if they already have cabin assignment. wallyj Posted February 1, 2018 #47 Share Posted February 1, 2018 Are you referring to $25 given after 20 cruises for elites or something else. The elite obj is per cabin Hi again, I have shared a cabin with my sister and we have each gotten our Loyalty OBC based on our individual cruise credits which is $100 each as we each have over 51 cruise credits. It is posted/credited based on HOUSEHOLD, please refer to brochure available from circle host. We have different last names and different address as we do not reside in same household. Many people think it is cabin because they are sharing a cabin with someone with same address in profiles and they only get ONE OBC credited to booking. Also to clarify, will OP please post where they saw thier $25 in cruise personalizer as I have stated already it should be in your Travel Summary a few days before sailing. As OP will be on board very soon, hopefully they will get verification of my posting.

A hundred dollars is always a great incentive. :) Doesn't changing the address in the personalizer conflict with the address on your passport ? wallyj Posted February 1, 2018 #49 Share Posted February 1, 2018 A hundred dollars is always a great incentive. :)Doesn't changing the address in the personalizer conflict with the address on your passport ? Since most adult US passports are good for ten years, people have been known to move before expiration. Also in your cruise personalizer for travel document, it only asks for number, issue and expiration date, no address. I don't know of any instance/princess requirement where there is a need to cross check/match address in passport with address in princess profile? As far as I know, your address in passport does not need to match address in Princess profile.
