Time keeping/ Clocks in cabin question

Ill be on my first ever cruise, on the Getaway, and Im wondering if the ship has any kind of clock in the cabin with ship time. Or does the cabin phone or TV display ship time? Thanks for any help

There are very few clocks in visible areas on a ship with the exception of the Guest Services desk.

Your cabin phone if it has a visible display will display ships time local to the area or port otherwise dial for the time.

The TV in you cabin will have time displayed when tuned to a Navigation Channel - this channel shows

where you left from and next port destination.

Times of London New York Los Angeles Honolulu Tokyo Berlin (others?) are displayed for reference.

If you are to enter a new time zone the next day the ships newspaper "Daily" will note of it and your cabin

attendant will leave a message at the turn down of the cabin.

If in a suite the table clock needs to be adjusted by you the passenger.

The ONLY important thing to remember about TIME is if taking a shore excursion or getting off the ship

is the TIME you must be back on board - Remember time is local to the port.

Make sure you don't have Mickey's hands in another dimension - ask plenty of questions !

Both will display the ship’s time. The ship will change time to match the local port time. Your room steward will leaves cards each time the time changes.

We always bring a small electric clock. Some stewards will unplug it, others will not. On our last Epic Cruise we had to reset the time occasionally as the clock would lose time. Don’t remember if we had any issues on the Getaway.

Two larger clocks on pool deck, one on each side

The reason there are not a lot of clocks on the ship is the maintenance to keep them all in

SYNC and poor Mickey's steward having trouble moving his arms/hands around all the time.

The ONLY real problem on board is finding that "Its 5 o'clock Some Where Bar" watering hole.

Time is fleeting - don't waste time trying to find time - Just do it and be done with it !

Don’t,

That’s a great take. Thanks. My philosophy is if a bar is open, who cares what time it is. Can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning.
