rhiannon35 Posted March 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2018 Wondering if anyone can tell me what port the Seaside stops at in Ocho Rios? We are making transportation arrangements, and I am having trouble finding which one. Thanks!
lcpagejr Posted March 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2018 I was there about 10 years ago....Alot of people like to call it a "mud hole"...LOL. I know their are several docks but my recollection is that the ships are all within eyesight. So just tell the driver the name of your ship and he will be there. They know, as Seaside stops there every 2 weeks

sidari Posted March 7, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 7, 2018 The older crappy pier is referred to as the James Bond pier due to it having been used in one of the JB Films. If you go to youtube search for MSC Divina arriving in Ocho Rios and you will see both piers.
dexddd Posted March 7, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 7, 2018 Right, it won't be the old Bauxite terminal which normally takes the smaller ships. It will be the larger one off to the left as you enter the port. Not that far from the other one.
TravelinGert Posted March 7, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 7, 2018 Yes, I realize this is not the MSC Seaside. That ship is in the exact position the Seaside was in when we docked at Ocho Rios back in February.
ISLANDCRUSO Posted March 7, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 7, 2018 Remember that part, though we had to dock at the side on a Princess ship due to a Royal ship being where the Carnival one is. Can just make out the beach of Margaritaville on the right side of the photo.

I think when I looked for my cruise on the Seaside on November 3rd , the ship is due to dock at that pier. I think it's been refurbished and a new walkway will be built from the pier to the centre of Ocho Rios Sent from my iPad using Forums
