Bringing beverage back from shore

I don't like coke products or I would buy on ship.I am on a port intensive cruise. Is it okay to bring one bottle back from shore?? I don't like breaking rules but will this be an issue?

They usually make you empty (or finish) any open drinks before reboarding the ship at ports. It really depends on who's manning the check in line when you return to the ship.

lol Mountain Dew before bed, huh? Unless it's a US port of call, chances of you finding Mountain Dew anywhere are extremely slim.

Depending on what port your departing from you can bring a six pack of plastic bottles on-board in you backpack when boarding.

Darn. My son only drinks Dr. Pepper. I always thought it was part the of the Coca Cola company but in researching I find that I am wrong, they are part of 7 Up.

 

Have to figure a Plan B.

Water/Iced Tea/Lemonade onboard; I bring those little flavor shot bottles for water. No calorie, easy to pack.

I found it in England,Scotland,Ireland and France...I am leaving from Sweden and doing a Baltic Cruise. I don't drink coffee, and I need to have caffeine. If there is Mountain Dew I will find it...lol

I managed to accidentally bring back a can of beer once when we were at a port in Mexico (Puerto Vallarta, I think). I had put it in my beach bag to drink on the way back to the ship (we were walking). Both my husband and I were a little tipsy and it was close to the "all aboard" about 10 minutes before. I imagine that they saw it during the x-ray and just didn't want to bother. So as you can see YMMV (your millage may vary).
