Thanks Pete for sharing, have a good trip back home.
I'm feeling sad that your trip is over! Thank you again. Safe travels home.

Thanks. We arrived home around an hour ago. I'm feeling sad my trip is over too. :')

We have just over three months to go before we have a short 6 nighter on Reflection, so it's not all bad.

Thank you so much for the time you took to pass on all this valuable information to those of us interested or actually on this itinerary. Would you happen to know the name of the tour company you used in Petra? Safe travels home!

Thanks. I didn't book the tour personally, someone on our roll call did. I believe this is the tour we did, although we had a packed lunch rather than a stop at a local restaurant.

The English speaking guide at Petra is not with you for three hours. It is probably just over 1.5 hours from the entrance through the main trail, through the Siq to the Treasury and on to the theatre.

The desert tour at Wadi Rum lasted around 1 hour 40 minutes. I don't recall seeing the Nabatean Temple that is listed in the itinerary.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give detailed explanations, particularly for transportation and viewing the famous sites in Greece ~ very, very helpful.

Also, your photos were wonderful to see. So glad you had an enjoyable cruise ~ Joy

Thank you very much UK Pete for taking the time to post beautiful pictures of the Constellation, of its menus and of the ports. I found your review very informative. Well done and thank-you so much!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was a great trip and the thread gives me something to look back on too.

UKPete71: We really enjoyed your day-by-day review. We have taken notes and hope to do this itinerary

in 2019. Your detailed information has been most helpful. Thank you for taking the time to post this thread.

Thank you so much for posting your daily review. We are booked to sail on Connie in September, with friends. I was getting a bit worried I’d made a big mistake, after reading bad reviews about no entertainment after 9 and it being mostly old people. Granted we are all in our 60s but not dead yet! Can’t wait to get on board now.

The late show in the theatre was at 9pm each day, apart from the day we were in port until 10pm. On that day there was only one show, at 10.15pm.

Every night there was live music available in at least one venue until 11.45pm and then the DJ took over in either Reflections or Rendevous Lounge. If you want late night entertainment you'll be able to find something.

There have been movies played during the day. We haven’t been to see one yet so couldn’t say what the volume is like.

The extra set of stairs/elevators has been well received by us. Our stateroom is between the elevators in mid-ship and aft, and the aft elevators take you in to the middle of the Oceanview Cafe.

The layout of the Oceanview Cafe takes a couple of days to get used to, as the food stations are around the central area. I prefer the S Class layout but you get used to where things are soon enough.

It is a bit strange walking through venues to get from front to back and vice versa. You have to walk through the Rendezvous Lounge, Casino, Cellar Masters etc. whereas you don’t have to do that on an S Class ship.

We have stayed in anAqua class above the Oceanview Cafe on the Millennium and never had a problem with noise from the movies.  The only elevator that is accessible to your cabin will be the aft elevators.  Otherwise, you will have to go through the cafe to access the aft stairs.

Hi. Thanks for making the effort, loved all the pictures.

Newbie here. Is the Cafe al bacio complimentary or do you have to pay?

What about the pastries they have there?

Pastries are free.   Beverages are for sale or part of a drink package.
